Last words embody that which the speaker considers the most important statements to communicate and to leave as a lasting impression.

Over the next four weeks we are delving into a series called “Famous Last Words”, exploring the last words Jesus left on His journey to the cross and then to His ascension.

On the 14^th Feb Emile Hoods will bring a message called “Final Instructions”, which looks at Jesus’ final instructions to those closest to Him who were charged with carrying His legacy, His disciples.

On the 21^st Feb we will be looking at Jesus’ final recorded prayer with His disciples – what were the things most important to Jesus as He prayed amongst His friends on the road to the cross?

On the 28^th Feb we will be taking a look at the truly famous last words of Jesus – His words spoken and recorded as His life ebbed away on the cross. Words that have brought hope to multitudes in the centuries that have followed.

And finally, on the 7^th March we will be taking a look at Jesus’ final statements before ascending to heaven, words that tell of something even greater to follow.
